This is a disturbing story and saddens me much. Seattle based, up and coming rap artist who was being managed by popular artist Tyga, commits suicide via Twitter. At only 22 years of age, the promising MC decided his life was not worth living and decided to chronicle his last minutes (in detailed fashion)  via social media. Most disturbing is how one blog decided in bad taste to cite his Twitter follower count as if this would make his life more relevant!

I have been reading about a disturbing amount of suicides eerily set in motion while the unfortunate depressed individual, types their way toward death.  Has society regressed to this level, where it is cool to end life "via Twitter/Facebook" or where an individual is so lonely they turn to immediate strangers to share their hopelessness instead of loved ones?

Statisically, African American males are committing suicide at an alarming rate.  Suicide was the third leading cause of death among African American youth (ages 10-19), after homicide and accidents. Earlier in 2012, the Hip Hop World was shocked when Mogul Chris Lighty, the beloved manager of "Violater Music", home to some of the biggest names in music including Rap Star Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson and Trevor "Busta Rhymes" Smith and a host of others, took his life leaving friends and family dumbfounded.

This 22 year old, which I have never heard of until now, was obviously under a great amount of pressure which usually goes along with the territory when you are dealing with the roller coaster ride and greed of the entertainment industry. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family members. If you or anyone else you know are suffering from depression and need someone to talk to, please SEEK HELP!
