Football Star DJ Henry's family says: Police Covered Up Details

Mount Pleasant Police Chief Louis Alagno and Lt. Brian Fanelli deliberately covered up crucial details of the shooting of Pace University student Danroy Henry Jr. in order to protect police, a lawyer for the Henry family said Thursday. At the news conference, held at the Double Tree hotel in Tarrytown, Danroy Sr. accused Hess of murder. He was joined by his wife and one of Henry’s passengers, Desmond Hinds, as well as family of the other passenger, Brandon Cox. Kenneth Chamberlain Jr., whose father was shot and killed by White Plains police in 2011, also joined supporters.

Henry was a 20-year-old Pace University student from Easton, Mass. He was driving away from a disturbance outside a suburban Thornwood, N.Y., bar in October 2010.
